Our Roots in Tampa With a history spanning over 40 years, the Islamic Community of Tampa (ICT) is more than just a masjid—it is a cornerstone of the Muslim experience in Florida. Located just minutes from the University of South Florida, ICT has grown alongside the city, evolving into a dedicated institution that serves the religious, social, and educational needs of a diverse and vibrant community.

Our Mission: The Betterment of Society At ICT, we are guided by the Quran and Sunnah to develop God-conscious individuals who contribute positively to the world around them. We strive to be a "middle nation"—a community that upholds what is good and stands firmly for justice and ethical behavior. Our goal is to provide a sanctuary where every Muslim can find spiritual guidance and every neighbor can find a friend.

What Defines ICT?

• A Hub for Spiritual Growth: We provide the five daily prayers, Jummah (Friday) services, and nightly Tarawih during Ramadan. Our pulpit serves as a source of authentic Islamic education, offering weekly Fiqh lectures and spiritual reminders for all ages.

• Empowering the Next Generation: We believe the future of our Ummah lies in our youth. Through our Saturday and Sunday schools and mentorship programs, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can excel academically while building a strong Muslim identity.

• Massive Community Support: ICT is a leader in local outreach. Serving Muslim families in need, embodying the Prophetic command to care for one's neighbors.

• Celebration & Unity: From hosting massive Eid celebrations at the Florida State Fairgrounds to organizing community breakfasts after Eid. Onsite Iftaar and college students vouchers, we believe in the power of brotherhood and sisterhood to strengthen the fabric of our city.
