From Atlanta to everywhere
What began as an off-hand idea in a Georgia Tech meeting room has grown into a nation-spanning, multi-partner, community-embedded organization. Our founding members graduated and spread across the country; some are pursuing graduate degrees, others work tech jobs, and still others are studying Islam.
What unites us is a common mission and devotion to the financial success of our shared Muslim community. Our headquarters will always be in Atlanta, Georgia, and we're proud that the majority of Atlanta masajid have now adopted Nizam technology.
It started with a simple observation.
In 2024, we noticed a recurring problem in our local community. While the rest of the world was moving toward digital payments and instant automation, our masajid were still struggling with crumpled cash, manual spreadsheets, and disconnected systems. The administrative burden was taking valuable time away from what matters most: serving the community.
We built Nizam to bridge that gap. As a group of Georgia Tech alumni, we realized that it was up to us to be the change in the community we wanted to see. We didn't just want to make another kiosk; we wanted to build an ecosystem that brings ihsan to the way non-profits operate.
Today, Nizam is the operating system for dozens of Masjids and Muslim nonprofits across the country, processing millions of dollars more securely and reliably.

From the beginning, we knew we had to hold ourselves to the highest standards of both the fintech industry and Islam. That's why everything we do is done with ihsan: from incorporating bank-level encryption, maintaining PCI compliance, and consulting with Islamic scholars on business strategy. In every product, every campaign, every communication, we hope to embody excellence and maintain the purest of intentions.
